Study of Modified Magnesium Phosphate Cement for Fluoride Removal

نویسندگان

چکیده

In this study, we used a novel composite material based on magnesium phosphate cement (MPC) to explore the retention of fluoride from water. Dead-burned oxide (MgO), ammonium dihydrogen (NH4H2PO4), and few retarders were create particular substance. Several studies have corroborated performance using aluminum in capture fluoride. From perspective, attempted reinforce our matrix with different quantities aluminum, which increased resistance The optimal conditions that obtained evaluated scrutinized range techniques, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET). adsorbents demonstrated powerful ability remove contaminated water defluoridation capacity was at 4.84 mg/g. Equilibrium modeling carried out, experimental data expressed accordance Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Dubinin–Radushkevich isotherms.

Preparation and characterization of a degradable magnesium phosphate bone cement

A kind of degradable magnesium phosphate bone cement (MPBC) was fabricated by using the mixed powders of magnesium oxide (MgO), potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH2PO4) and calcium dihydrogen phosphate (Ca(H2PO4)2.H2O). As MgKPO4, the main product of MgO and KH2PO4 was alkaline, the Ca(H2PO4)2.H2O was added to neutralize the alkali of the system. And the effects of Ca(H2PO4)2.H2O on the performa...

Investigation of the effect of phosphate agent type on setting time, flowability, hydration and dehydration of magnesium phosphate cement.

Magnesium phosphate cements (MPC) are the most developed kind of chemically bonded ceramics which form through the reaction of magnesium oxide and soluble phosphate salts. Therefore, study of different magnesium phosphate cement systems is considered important according to the type of phosphate agent used. In this study, effect of mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP), di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), and ...
